National Hockey Festival 2009

Southeast Field Hockey Association will be sending teams to the National Hockey Festival. We invite adult women to participate. Depending upon the amount of interested players, we will enter at least one team into the women's open division.

If you are interested in attending the festival please complete the SE Registration Form. After filling in the requested information, please hit the submit button. You will be directed to another web page with your information filled out. Print out that page and return the page with a non-refundable $80.00 check made out to SEFHA to Stacie Gado (address is on printed page) postmarked by September 1. The balance due will be determined by umpire and other fees and will be posted when it becomes known. That amount must also be a check made out to SEFHA, sent to Stacie Gado

There will also be a $40.00 charge for 2 a red and a white sleeveless uniform shirt, which you can keep for future use. (If you purchased shirts in a previous year and you bring them with you you do not have to purchase shirts again). Red stirrup socks will be provided if needed, you are responsible for navy/black shorts, white socks, mouth guards, shin guards, and playing equipment.

Any player resident in the Southeast Section is eligible to play including, association, club or college players. There is no prerequisite and you do not have to attend any specific tournaments or tryouts. If we have enough players to enter more than 1 team we will make all efforts to allow people to play together. Please let Stacie know as soon as possible if you are interested in playing with Southeast.

Most players get their own hotel rooms in California but if you need help contact Stacie as soon as possible. Reservations can be made through the Festival housing office JBS Destinations Solutions Global Housing Bureau.

Please be aware that games are played beginning early Thursday morning through mid day on Sunday. Make your flight reservations accordingly. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the airport, through check-in and to the plane. Players are expected to play in all games.
