About the new Blackeyed Susan/Southeast FHA sponsored tournament.

The Southeast Field Hockey Association is working with Aloha Tournaments for the Black-Eyed Susan Tournament.  It is replacing the High School division of our SE tournament.  Aloha Tournaments is running the event but we are sponsoring it, and helping them out as well.

We feel that holding the High School division on a totally separate weekend allows for more High School teams to participate.  It also allows for a better schedule with full-length games. Additionally, with the greater number of teams, we anticipate that more college coaches will be interested in attending.  Since our SE Tourney has become more and more popular we have felt that we try to fit too much in 1 weekend.

We feel that expanding and allowing the high school teams to play on an entirely different weekend will be better for the teams.  

Thank you all for working with both organizations.  We hope to see your participation at the Black-Eyed Susan Event!  It will definitely be a great experience and more playing opportunity - 2 days!
